AMF students at Race for the Cure event

Starting a chapter of AMF can be a very rewarding experience. Not only will you create a peer-support environment for grieving students on your campus, you’ll develop relationships and skills that will last long after your college years.

To start an AMF chapter, you will:

  • Gain official recognition as a student club or organization at your college
  • Recruit other chapter leaders and publicize AMF on your campus
  • Conduct your first support group meeting and/or service project

We’ll walk you through these steps and provide a wealth of how-to materials and resources as you move forward. Plus, you’ll become connected with other student leaders around the country who have successfully established their own chapters
